Patricia Pope Pope ConsultingPat serves as CEO and Chief Creative Officer of Pope Consulting. She leads our research and development efforts and oversees the creation of new assessments, measurement tools, and training solutions for our clients.

She coined the phrase “The Illusion of Inclusion” in 1990 and has continued to research this phenomenon. Her innovative measurement tool, Team Inclusion Profile™, is used by hundreds of teams and is recognized for its simplicity and deep insights. She published Relationship Mapping: A Tool for Diagnosing Relationships, and has also written many articles over the years. Pat was designated a Diversity Legend by the International Society of Diversity & Inclusion Professionals in 2011 and was recognized as a Pioneer by Profiles in Diversity Journal in 2007.  She has also received awards from The Cincinnati Business Courier, Enterprising Women, and the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce.

Being a recognized subject matter expert for diversity, inclusion, and culture change, Pat has contributed her expertise to many organizations outside of Pope Consulting, including the U.S. Army, Enterprising Women, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Kent State University, the University of Michigan, and Xavier University. But her first priority is delivering engaging diversity and inclusion content that moves the needle forward for our clients’ work cultures.

Pat holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Development from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s Degree in business and the social sciences from Union Institute & University.
