Pamela’s career includes experience in Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Leadership Development, HR Consulting and Employee Communications.
In her most recent position as the Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion officer for Fifth Third Bancorp, she was responsible for enterprise-wide initiatives to achieve diverse talent excellence, a highly inclusive culture and strong partnerships in the community. She led several initiatives to foster inclusion such as a leading-edge infrastructure for employee business resource groups and approaches for workplace trauma tragedies.
Pamela has earned numerous top workplace accolades including three prestigious Gallup Great Workplace Awards, green status and 100% from the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index for equality initiatives as well as numerous awards for initiatives focused on individuals with disabilities.
Pamela received her bachelor’s degree, with honors, in business and HR management, from Davenport University. She earned her SPHR designation through SHRM/HCI and was awarded the Glass Ceiling Award by the Ohio Diversity Council in 2015. She is a recent graduate of Leadership Cincinnati, Class 39.
Pamela is a CASA (court appointed special advocate) and a member of the Greater Cincinnati’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Advisory Board. She also volunteers at a local food pantry.
